Kihikihi Domain
Overview

The Kihikihi Domain is a multi purpose sports centre located near Te Awamutu in the Waipa District.  In just a few short years the Domain has been developed into New Zealand's premier venue for international horse trials and is now the host to the country's only qualifier for the FEI World Cup™ Eventing series.

The Domain provides purpose built equestrian arenas for dressage and show-jumping.  The cross-country course caters from Training through to CIC Three Star  level of competition.    The course is designed by John Nicholson and is renowned for its innovative and beautifully decorated jumps.  In the Winnie the Pooh Hundred Acre Wood area the jumps feature stump houses complete with carved Pooh, Roo, Tigger and Kanga figures standing beside.  A unique Maori Waka Jump is the first obstacle on the course and fittingly steers riders on their journey.
