Event Overview
Horse Trials are unique in that they incorporate three equestrian disciplines in one sport - dressage, show jumping and cross country. As a spectator at the Mitavite International Horse Trial you will witness an amazing display of grace, power and courage by both horse and rider as together they face tests of skill, precision and endurance. The FEI World Cup™ Eventing series is the sports premier global showcase. Make sure you join the country carnival atmosphere with live entertainment, classic cars, tractor rides, a trade fair and of course - international equestrian action close-up!

How to find the Kihikihi Domain
The Kihikihi Domain is easy to find and is well signposted from the Kihikihi township. Click here for a street map. The main entrance to the event will be from Dick Street.
From Auckland and Hamilton just head south on State Highway 3, and Kihikihi is just a few minutes south of Te Awamutu.
Approaching from New Plymouth and Te Kuiti head north along State Highway 3 until reaching Kihikihi township 15 minutes north of Otorohanga.
Approaching from Taupo via Mangakino turn left into the Putaruru/Kihikihi Road at Parawera.
Accommodation
There are a number of accomodation options in and around Te Awamutu, Cambridge and Hamilton City.
