School Roll
Our
school roll is usually between 420 and 500 pupils, aged from 5 years to 11
years (Year 0 - Year 6/7). Our class sizes range between 22 - 34 pupils per
classroom.

Teaching
Staff
We
are fortunate to have a staff of twenty
dedicated and professional educators who are committed to providing a
caring and stimulating learning environment for their students.

Extension
Programmes
These are run periodically throughout the year and children with
special abilities are able to extend their skills in art, music, writing and
mathematics. |

Computer
Use
The establishment of a computer suite (19 pcs) and the
provision of networked computers in all classrooms has allowed our children
to become regular and competent users of Information
and Communication Technologies.

Parent
Involvement
A major strength in our school is the support we
receive from parents, our Home and School Association and Board of Trustees.
We welcome parent participation and we invite you to let us know of
areas where you would like to be involved. |

Library and Resources
Our Library is a central feature in our school and our Home and
School Association and Board of Trustees provide in excess of $7000 per year
to purchase new resources. In
addition a further $16,000 is allocated to purchasing resources for literacy
and numeracy.

Swimming
Pool and Playground
During the summer excellent use is made of
our swimming pool.
With the facility on site we are able to provide daily swimming
instruction for all of our pupils.
We also have a large field which is fully utilised for sport and
recreational activity.
Through the efforts of our Home and School Association we also have
sandpits, forts, climbing frames, a variety of sports equipment and an
obstacle course, so that pupils always have something of interest to do
during breaks from the classrooms. |
