Whats on this Sunday Uganda 2008

Liz Phillips arrived home from Uganda on Monday 19th.  She stopped in Melbourne a few days with her brother James who has been having therapy following a cancer operation.  Rejoice with us that all 6 of the team are safely home, and busy catching up with things waiting for them.

Ken, Liz, and Simeon were away for 3 months in Uganda.  the building of the milking shed at Rwentanga Farm School has been completed, and we trust that it is being used by the farm-staff at the school.

Praise God with us that the plans made by the team before we left in February have largely been completed.  this is the completion of the fifth year of mission.

There are around more than 45 cows and heifers with families in the 5 villages around Mbarara.  But there's more; primary schools around Ruharo have books from NZ schools, missionaries' vehicles have been serviced by Simeon Gilbert and his toolbox, church families have shared the experience and abilities of John and Meagan Ward through teaching in marriage and family life, congregations have been blessed through the testimonies of team members, those same team members have been blessed and inspired by the simple and sincere faith of the Ugandan people.

Where to from here?  There will be a day in early August when all those who have been members of a team in the past 5 years will meet up for prayer, food and forward planning.  Also invited will be the 2 couples waiting to go in 2009.

The work of mission to Uganda will continue.  We thank you all for your gifts, and most surely for your prayers - they continue to work miracles as God listens and blesses.  Please keep praying for Uganda, especially for the people of Mbarara, Ruharo, the villages , and Rwentanga Farm School.

Thank you and bless you heaps!!!!
